When I got Leela I knew it’d be difficult to avoid making cat comics. I fought the temptation valiantly, but I’ve been defeated by reality. Leela has a tendency to drool on me that I must share with the world:
Rosco has always had this issue. He sorta fixates on licking his paws when he goes to bed, so I end up having wet spots near my feet that I try to avoid. Leela actually likes to sleep high up on a cat tree in my room, but before she goes to bed she has to drool on me. Before any armchair veterinarian types clutch their pearls, it’s not exactly as depicted in the comic. She actually suckles on blankets/shirts/etc as I’m pretty sure she was weaned too early as a kitten. Cute, but it leaves me with wet spots. So the result is the same, but the image of her straight-up drooling on me just amused me. Needless to say I have to wash my bedding constantly or they get stanky… as a single dude who isn’t used to this chore, it’s quite inconvenient to my desired laziness.
Anyhoo, basically my pets are waterboarding me every night.
